Palok Das – Founder Director

Palok is a healthcare management consultant and an educator. He has been associated with the healthcare domain for 25 years and has worked in first environments such as hospitals, pharmaceuticals, hospital pharmacy operations, healthcare research/ consultancy, and academia.
Having served in multiple national leadership positions, Palok started his entrepreneurial venture in healthcare research and consultancy in 2015. He envisioned a consultancy firm that would understand the unmet needs of the healthcare industry and its stakeholders, with a primary focus on patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Palok practices the belief that healthcare is all about patient care and that patient centricity is the key. Every decision, clinical and non-clinical, needs to be charted keeping the patient in focus. The credibility of a healthcare institution is best reflected through its clinical parameters rather than business and financial parameters.
His areas of expertise and interest include healthcare strategic planning and management, health policy, health economics and outcomes research, quality and patient safety, global healthcare systems and practices, healthcare marketing, and operations.
With his continued passion for teaching, Palok has been a member of the faculty in post-graduate programs in healthcare administration and hospital management, both in the U.S. and in India.
Palok’s academic credentials include a Master's in Healthcare Decision Analysis (USA), a Master's in Healthcare Administration (USA), a Master's in International Management (UK), and a Master's in Management Science (IN.), with graduation in Pharmacy.
Palok was recognized as one of the “Top 100 Healthcare Leaders” by the International Forum on Advancements in Healthcare (IFAH), USA for 2020-21 at The Global Healthcare Conference, in recognition of his contribution to the healthcare industry.
In 2023, Palok was conferred the “Outstanding Leadership Award” at the Health 2.0 Conference, Dubai, UAE in recognition of his contribution to healthcare.

Rashmi Ray - Director
MBA (Finance), B. Com (HONS)
Rashmi is a seasoned professional with 20 years of experience in financial research and analysis. She has worked with global asset management companies, banks, and investment management companies, providing them with investment research support, with a primary focus on fixed-income and credit analysis.
Under fixed-income and credit, she has worked on investment grade analysis, high yields, leveraged models, and distressed debt analysis (analyzing the credit situation and risk managing opportunities arising out of deleveraging and restructuring in stressed situations) for UK and European sell-side and buy-side clients, having a focus on EMEA and Asian markets.
Before working in the credit domain, Rashmi also worked for equity valuation and research services, including outsourcing support to investment research firms.
Broadly, Rashmi has worked for clients having exposures/ focus in select industries like pharmaceuticals, telecom, utility, retail, oil & gas, healthcare, livestock and meat, mining, and the gaming sector.
In her entrepreneurial journey with Nxt Directionz Consultancy LLP, Rashmi has leveraged her previous experience by adding value in areas of business research, sector analysis, equity research, and so on.
Rashmi believes in continuous learning and sharing knowledge and takes an interest in teaching. She has taught financial management, and business communication to postgraduate students of a hospital management and administration institute, affiliated with Bangalore University, India.
Rashmi holds a Postgraduate degree in business management with a specialization in finance.
